Beginner's Tip: Keep your butt low and your abs tight when you're in the splayed (push-up) position (D).
A. Stand with your feet together, knees slightly bent, arms at your sides.
B. Bend your knees to crouch toward the floor, placing your hands flat on the ground in front of you, spaced about a foot apart.
C. Step back behind you with one foot.
D. Follow with the other foot. You should now be in a push-up position. Step your feet back underneath your hips one at a time to come back to a crouch position (B), then stand up to complete one repetition. Repeat the sequence.
