Anna Nicole was born Vickie Lynn Hogan in 1967 and grew up in Mexia, a small Texas town. In April 1985, when she was just 17, she married 16-year-old Billy Wayne Smith, whom she met while working at a Jim's Crispy Fried Chicken. Eighteen is so overrated.

Less than a year later, she gave birth to her first child, Daniel, on January 22, 1986, but a nuclear family it was not. The couple split in 1987, and Billy Wayne was rumored to have been abusive. Anna Nicole took custody of Daniel.
