Desperate Housewives beauty Marcia Cross was single for so long that rumors began to surface that she was actually a lesbian and in a secret relationship with another woman. The actress appeared on The View in 2005 to debunk the gay rumors and, later that year, announced her engagement to stockbroker Tom Mahoney, who she had been dating for six months. Marcia married her man in 2006, at the age of 44, and eight months later the newlyweds became proud parents of twin girls.
