Things weren't so simple back in the day either. Now she's a screen legend, but in 1947, Judy Garland was suffering daily breakdowns on the set of husband Vincente Minnelli's movie The Pirate. It was the last film she would make for MGM and a few months later, she attempted suicide. But good news for our modern day meltdowns: there are always second acts. Garland had a big and beautiful comeback the following decade.
