Elisabeth Hasselbeck is the token Republican on The View, most recently showing her support for the party with her backing of John McCain and Sarah Palin. On October 26, Elisabeth went down to Florida to host a rally for Sarah Palin, where she was excited about being able to "talk for a full five minutes without being interrupted." The majority of Elisabeth's speech revolved around fashion, saying that Sarah wasn't a fashionista, but she "sure is a woman who knows how to dress." The View cohost also commented on Sarah's great accessories, "like the flag pin she wears."
