Hollywood's Political Connection

Ever since Hollywood actor Ronald Reagan made the switch from the studio house to the White House, the line between celebrities and politics has become increasingly blurry. These days, politicians must always be camera-ready, and big names are nearly required to make appearances in venues most often reserved for celebrities. (Does anyone remember Bill Clinton's saxophone performance on the Arsenio Hall Show back in 1992?) Whether they're stumping for their favorite candidate, holding a fundraiser, or running for office themselves, these celebrities have all shown a strong interest in the political process.
