Strength Training

During sex, your pulse rate rises to about 150 beats per minute. That's the same rate you should aim for during a good aerobic workout, anyway, so why not get a little weight training in as well?

Your run-of-the-mill sex session works muscles all over your body, including the:

  • Pelvis

  • Thighs

  • Buttocks

  • Arms

  • Neck

Strong muscles can boost your metabolism, and strength training helps to make strong bones, lowering your risk of osteoporosis.

In guys, sex also increases levels of testosterone, which has been linked to stronger muscles and bones.
