Epsom salts, also known as magnesium sulfate, dates from the 1600s, when the English town of Epsom opened a spa based on its mineral-rich waters. Some research suggests that our bodies can absorb
magnesium by soaking in Epsom salts, which has a long-standing use as a natural stress reliever to help ease muscle and joint pain. Getting enough magnesium may help relieve headaches, menstrual cramps and fatigue.
So take the plunge: Add two cups of Epsom salt to a warm bath and soak for at least 15 minutes to relieve stress.
