Junk Is Beautiful
Out-of-the-Gutter Blinds
Materials needed:
- 1" x 2" pine board
- Plastic rain-gutter protectors
- Easy cable clips
- Eye hooks
- Lightweight black metal chain
- Connect gutter protectors to fit window size widthwise (we used 4 gutter protectors).
- Cut and paint 2 pieces of 1" x 2" pine board to fit blind. Use to finish top and bottom edge of each blind.
- Attach finished wood pieces to gutter protectors with small screws.
- Attach easy cable clips to wood frame.
- Measure and cut metal chain for your window so that the blind is centered in the window.
- Screw eye hooks into inside of window frame.
- Connect chain to window frame, then suspend from eye hooks.
