"I know this topic has been heavily discussed before, but I'm wondering how common it is to remove shoes upon entering houses. I'm also wondering how many [of you] request that shoes be removed upon entering your house. I like the concept of removing shoes, because it separates outside from inside and also creates a more relaxed atmosphere. I'm looking forward to see how people feel." —pathfinderara
