I would never do it, but it has happened to me! For my bridal shower, I got this tacky teapot from my future sister-in-law, Eileen. When I opened the teapot box later, I found three cards inside. One said, "To Gail, From Eileen," another said, "To Eileen, From Doreen," and the last said, "To Doreen, From Aunt Millie." I should have called Doreen's Aunt Millie for the receipt to put that poor teapot out of its misery! Instead, I used it and made no bones about how Aunt Millie has no taste in teapots.
