I couldn't talk about my life milestones without acknowledging my mom, Dorothy Rodham. She kick-started my interest in learning about the world by taking me to the library every week. And even though we got a TV when I was five, she didn't let us watch it much. Instead, we played cards or board games. It was a great way to grow up.
As I got older, she gave me advice that has served me throughout my life. She always told me that I have a choice: I could live my own life or react to everyone else trying to pull me into their drama. Ultimately, she taught me that you have to be true to yourself.
