Cell phones can be a good way to keep track of kids, but if you don't set explicit rules, they can also endanger your kids, too. We checked in with the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children and got tips on cell phone safety and responsibility for children:

1. Determine appropriate rules for your children's use of wireless devices. Decide who they may communicate with and how they may use these devices.

2. Know your children's passwords and assist them in setting up their account.
