For families on the hunt for wildlife, iVillage mom Debbie suggests Yellowstone National Park, located in Wyoming, Montana, and Idaho.

Your kids can spy on animals such as bear, elk, buffalo, deer, moose and wolves and see natural wonders such as Old Faithful, thermal pools, water falls, lakes, mountains and streams. Bring comfortable clothes, as Debbie says her family spends their time walking, swimming and fishing.

"We went there every summer when I was growing up," she says. "This year, my parents and youngest brother are going with us and we're renting a cabin at Hebgen Lake in Montana, a few miles outside of the park. We are counting down the days to this vacation."
