Here at iVillage, we were dismayed to learn that school districts are banning cupcakes from classroom birthday celebrations. On the happy days when cupcakes make their way into our office, we consume them so quickly you'd think we were in the middle of some kind of cupcake shortage! But not everyone shares our love. The ban has elicited surprisingly strong reactions from parents — almost 1,000 iVillagers posted responses on our message boards. Read on for some of their opinions on the cupcake crackdown!
