Snoopy made his Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade debut in 1968 and has appeared in it 28 times since then. Over the years, the gregarious beagle with a Walter Mitty complex has assumed a variety of roles, from an astronaut to an ice skater to a millennium party animal, but his most famous Macy's Parade incarnation is the Flying Ace, with his goggles, red scarf and aviator hat.
