The seating card table should have maximum visual impact. Ours here was an eight foot table covered in hot pink silk linen and holding three arrangements in 16-inch square metallic gold vases, filled with silvery pink roses, pink cymbidiums, pink sweet pea, pink roses, and bush ivy. The arrangements were connected by lengths of grapevine, wired with pink cymbidiums. Reprising the diagonal design element from the invitation, we thought exaggerating that shape for the seating cards would be exciting and fresh--and it was--especially with more than 300 cards all lined up together. Paper-meister Karen carried the vine pattern and pink paper from the invite to the pocket of the seating card. Guests' names were written in hot pink calligraphy on a cream card.
